Terms & Conditions - Classes

1. Booking & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed once payment is received.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Student-Initiated Cancellations:

More than 7 days before the class: Full refund or credit.

3–6 days before the class: 50% refund or credit.

Less than 72 hours before the class: No refund, but you may transfer your booking to another person.

Instructor-Initiated Cancellations:

If we cancel a class, you will receive a full refund or may transfer your booking to a future date.

3. Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule must be made at least 72 hours in advance.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

4. Minimum Enrollment

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any class with fewer than [4] participants registered. In such cases, you may choose a refund or credit.

5. Health & Safety

If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend the class. Contact us as soon as possible to discuss options.

6. Class Conduct

Classes are designed to be fun and respectful. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the class without refund.

Outside alcohol is not permitted unless expressly stated.

7. Photography & Media Release

We may take photos/videos during class for marketing purposes. By attending, you grant permission for your image to be used unless you opt out in writing before class.

8. Liability Waiver

You participate in the class at your own risk. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event.

9. Intellectual Property

Any handouts, guides, or class materials are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

10. Agreement

By booking, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Terms & Conditions - Rentals

1. Reservations & Availability

  • Rentals are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • We’ll confirm your date and selections via email after your booking request.

  • If your preferred date or selections are unavailable, we’ll offer alternatives. If none are satisfactory, we’ll issue a full refund.

2. Rental Period

  • A rental period is 24 hours unless otherwise arranged in writing.

  • Pickup and return times will be coordinated by email.

3. Payment & Security Hold

  • Rental fees are due at the time of booking.

  • A $50 refundable Security Hold will be added when your rental is confirmed. This hold is returned in full once all items are returned in good condition.

4. Care of Rental Items

  • Mahjong tiles, racks, and mats must be returned in the same condition they were received.

  • Please keep all items indoors and away from food, drinks, or pets that may cause damage.

  • Normal wear is expected, but damage, loss, or missing pieces may result in a partial or full deduction from the Security Hold.

5. Pickup & Delivery

  • We offer free Local Pickup and a Delivery option within our service area for an additional fee.

  • Pickup/return location and delivery details will be confirmed after booking.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the rental date will receive a full refund (including the Security Hold, if already processed).

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the rental date may forfeit the rental fee, but the Security Hold will be refunded.

  • If Mockingbird & Magnolia must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.

7. Liability

  • Renter assumes responsibility for the use of all rental items during the rental period.

  • Mockingbird & Magnolia is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss that occurs while using the rental items.

8. Agreement

By completing a rental booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
