Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum age?
We recommend ages 7 and up. Younger kids can sometimes participate with a little extra support, but it really depends on the child. If you are not sure, reach out and we can talk through it based on the specific group.
Does the birthday kid need to know how to play already?
No. We start from the very beginning with every group. Even if no one in the room has ever touched a mahjong tile, we get them playing within the first 20 minutes.
Can adults participate too?
Yes. A lot of parents end up at the table alongside their kids, and it makes for a really fun dynamic. We can accommodate adults and kids playing together or keep them at separate tables, depending on what works best for your group.
Can you come to our home?
Yes. We bring everything needed for the party, including all the tiles and game materials. You just need a table with enough space for the group. We can also suggest venues if you need one.
How far in advance should we book?
Three to four weeks in advance is ideal. We do our best to accommodate last-minute requests when the schedule allows, so reach out even if your date is coming up quickly.
